Elements are the pioneers of embedded talent consultancy.

Their team spend much of their time working from their clients’ offices, immersed in the culture and workspaces of the exciting tech organisations they are recruiting into. For that reason, their new headquarters had to be a place that employees loved to return to. It had to feel like home.

Office culture and wellbeing

A FOCUS ON COMMUNITY

ā€“ Adaptive kitchen and breakout area – a hub for team lunches, group exercise and parties as well as day-to-day working and meetings.
– Coffee-point complete with professional barista
– Outdoor vegetable patch for mental and physical wellbeing

The design includes various zones to suit different tasks and personalities, with plenty of booths, private spaces and tech-enabled meeting rooms for break outs and video calls, group or solo working. The sun terrace is the most popular spot for team huddles during good weather, and doubles up as prime space for BBQs and sundowners.

Thirdway and Tribe worked closely with the client, finding synergy in attitudes towards culture, people and the modern workplace. Many of the furnishings, as chosen by Tribe, took inspiration from more masculine materials such as leather, velvet and wood. The large desks by Narbutas in the main office area feature warm walnut tops, providing a grown-up and sophisticated feel.

The project timeline was incredibly tight with just a few weeks to design and deliver the concept and then only seven weeks on site to convert the vision to a reality. We made it.

It's hard not to fall absolutely in love with this place. For the first time we have a place that really epitomises everything about our culture in a physical environmentā€
